Brief Information
About Masthugget Football Club
Our club has an good standard of facilities and is financed by our sponsors, and city and state.
We work closely with our surrounding neighbourhood and the club contributes to the development of youths in the area,
providing them with facilities for sporting activity.
The club has a healthy balance of Swedish and foreign members. We have some foreign coaches as well as players.
Even when players
leave the club they often return to us as we have something special here.
Masthugget Football Club is a tightly knit club.
Its friendly atmosphere and high standard of training attracts many players from neighbouring clubs. We have fun but we work hard too.
There is no restriction on the teams' coaching so each team play the style directed by their trainer.
Swedish is the language of the Club but English is also used occasionally.
The teams compete in many cup competitions. For the youths the Gothia Cup is the big competition and is held yearly here in Gothenburg,
where clubs from all across the globe lock horns.
Based here in Gothenburg our grass roots club has a number of teams catering for Schoolboys.
Our senior team competes in the 6th division and we like to see our youth players progress to the senior team.
